Providence Health & Services Program Manager - Mission Integration in Seward, Alaska
Providence is calling a Program Manager, Mission Integration ( Acute Administration , Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Seward Medical Center in Seward, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Provides program management leadership to key initiatives spanning the Mission and Shared Services groups, in collaboration with other strategic functions and leadership groups across the system.
Develops and applies business skills such as project management, data analysis, business planning and development, stakeholder engagement, executive communication and presentations.
Identifies, gathers, and analyzes all pertinent data, research and/or information necessary to accomplish project goals
Engages key stakeholders and guides team members through project completion.
Develops and manages program plans with key assignments, priorities, and responsibilities.
Facilitates program meetings, sets agendas, and documents any notes or action items.
Communicates major issues promptly to management, staff, and affected customers.
Develops communication materials and tools to support the activities and goals of Mission organizations.
Works independently and manages time effectively. Makes informed decisions about where to invest efforts based on established priorities as demonstrated by: completing assignments on time; communicating with division leadership regarding prioritization and target completion dates based on business need or impact.
Responsible for positive relationship management with project Executive Sponsors and team members, as well as assisting teams with the development of the project charters to include mutually agreed upon scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
Other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in program management activities is required.
Experience in managing virtual teams.
Experience in establishing and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external customers, client management and consulting skills.
